FAQ
Cost, contract, connection, operation: what you ask us most often.
Subscription and contract
What does an alarm receiving centre do?
It receives your alarm's signals 24 hours a day. For every event the operator checks what is happening, calls you and the people you have given us and, when needed, the police. See what happens when the alarm goes off.
How much does the subscription cost?
The annual subscription depends on the connection method and the services you choose. Ask your installer or request a call back.
How long is the contract?
One year. After that it continues as an open-ended contract and renews when the subscription is paid.
How do I know when my subscription expires?
We let you know by phone or with the quick-payment slip we send you.
How do I pay?
Online by card, with the Live-Pay app, by deposit at National Bank, Eurobank, Piraeus or Alpha, by ELTA quick payment or at our office. See the payment methods.
I have a contract with another centre. Can I switch to you?
Yes, once your contract expires. You get 10% off in the first year.
Connection
Do I need a new alarm?
Usually not: most modern systems connect to any centre. If yours cannot, you get 20% off a new Sigma system.
How does the connection work?
Your installer fills in the connection application and programs the panel with the details we provide. Activation is immediate once we check the signals arrive correctly.
What phone connection do I need?
All types connect. If your line is ADSL/VDSL, a special filter is needed on the alarm. Alternatively, the alarm can connect over internet or mobile.
Do you cover areas outside Athens?
Yes, throughout Greece. Communication is over a phone line, internet or mobile, so distance doesn't matter.
What is a GPRS/4G connection and can I add it?
The alarm communicates over the mobile network. We usually check communication every few minutes, and if it is cut for any reason we see it as an event. It can be added to almost any alarm. See the Global SIM.
Operation
What happens if the power goes off?
The alarm keeps running on its battery and we keep receiving signals. Autonomy depends on the devices and the battery's condition, but it is normally over 24 hours.
What happens if the phone line is cut?
If the alarm communicates only over the phone line, it cannot send a signal. That is why we recommend a second communication path, such as mobile (GPRS/4G) or Global SIM.
Can I see which signals you have received?
Yes. We can send you an event report by email or SMS, as often as you like. See the reports.
I set off the alarm by mistake. What do I do?
Disarm it and call us immediately on +30 801 10 10 100. The operator will ask you to confirm your details. See what to do after a false alarm.
My contact persons or their phone numbers have changed. What do I do?
Let us know with the “Change details” form or call +30 210 9765485. Before any change we will call you to confirm.
Who do I call for information?
Customer service on +30 210 9765485, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00, or email [email protected].
