All packages receive signals 24/7. The difference is how often your alarm “checks in” with the centre, and so how quickly we notice that communication has been cut.

For every signal the operator follows a set procedure. For burglary, robbery, duress, fire and medical signals we notify you, the people you have given us and, when needed, the authorities.
A zone is violated while the alarm is armed.
From a panic button, remote or duress code.
From smoke or heat detectors.
From an emergency button or remote.
Which user and when, if you have asked for it.
Cover opened (tamper) on a panel, keypad or siren.
And when it comes back, so you know how long it lasted.
Of the panel or wireless devices.
Phone line failure or loss of the periodic test signal.
Connection methods
For extra security we recommend two communication paths: if one is cut, the alarm sends over the other.
The classic connection. Works with every modern panel. If the line is ADSL/VDSL, a filter is needed.
Through your router, with an IP panel or communicator. Very fast and inexpensive to run.
Independent of your phone line. With Global SIM it connects to 3 networks. Ideal as a second path.
Compatibility
All the panel needs is to send signals in Contact ID or SIA, as almost every modern panel does. If yours cannot, you get 20% off a new Sigma system.
